Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, one out of every five San Francisco-Marin residents was at risk of hunger. Today, the numbers are even higher as inflation, job loss, and other pandemic-related effects reverberate throughout the community. San Francisco-Marin Food Bank has worked tirelessly to fight hunger since 1987 and partners with over 350 organizations to achieve its mission.
One of those organizations is Hauslane, the premier kitchen range hood brand. Hauslane knows the importance of food security and a good meal. To help move the efforts of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank forward, Hauslane recently conducted a charity campaign. Five dollars were donated to the organization for every range hood sold. As a result, over $4,000 were donated toward the fight to end hunger in the San Francisco-Marin community.
“We’re so thankful to all of our customers for making our recent charity campaign with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank a huge success. No one should go hungry and we’ll continue the fight to eradicate hunger in our local community,” shared Hauslane CEO, Calvin Ruan.
