Nick Eh 30 reveals Fortnite Icon Series skin, release date confirmed (2024)

Getting an Icon Series skin is one of the biggest honors a Fortnite creator can get as it immortalizes the player in the game. In the past, we have seen top creators and pro players such as Ninja, SypherPK, Ali-A, and Bugha be brought into the Fortnite universe. It has now been announced that Nick Eh 30 will be the next creator to come to the game as he is set to receive his own Fortnite Icon Series skin.

Nick Eh 30 revealed his Icon Series skin on his Twitch stream, including a trailer and a first look at the three different styles, pickaxe, emote, and more. The skin pays tribute to his streaming career, with the accents on his jersey blending from red to purple to signal his journey from YouTube to Twitch.

But, it wasn’t just paying tribute to his career that was important to Nick, but also ensuring that the likeness was as accurate as possible. During his reveal stream, Nick showed the painstaking detail that went into creating the skin, from numerous edits to make the eye and nose shape as accurate as possible, even down to millimeter changes.

Nick Eh 30 revealed that the skin has been in the works since late 2022 and and showed clips when he was talking to SypherPK about his own Icon Series skin while trying to remain tight-lipped that he knew his skin was in the works.

Edit Styles

In addition to the base style for the skin, Nick Eh 30’s Icon Series skin will also include two edit styles. The first is a King style, paying tribute to his “I’m the King” viral moment, while the second features a helmet that pays tribute to the Mogul Master skin, which has been dubbed the “Nick Eh 30” skin due to him frequently using it during the early years of the game. Finally, as with most skins that are now released, the Nick Eh 30 Icon Series skin will come with its own Lego style. Check out all three styles below.

Other Cosmetic Items

In addition to the Icon Series skin, the Nick Eh 30 bundle will also feature a Pickaxe with his crown logo on it, an emote that sees the skin dance inside of his crown logo, and even the first-ever Icon Series Jam Track titled “Never Back Down.”

There will also be a new decal for the Cyclone vehicle, that can be used in both Rocket Racing and Rocket League. If you already own the Cyclone vehicle you will receive the decal for free.

Nick Eh 30 Icon Cup

The Nick Eh 30 Icon Cup will be taking place on June 12th and will be using the Duos format. Players that earn at least eight points will unlock the King Eh 30 Spray, while duos that get 30 total eliminations in the tournament will receive the You Think You’re The King? emote.

Jam Track

For the first time ever, an Icon Series skin has received its own Jam Track to play in Fortnite Festival, as lobby music, and on the car radio. Nick Eh 30 also created a music video for the track which you can check out below.

New Creative Maps

To celebrate the release of the new Nick Eh 30 Icon Series skin, three new UEFN Fortnite Creative maps have been released, you can check out the trailer for them below.

Price

The Nick Eh 30 Icon Series skin will cost 1,500 V-Bucks and will come with all of the edit styles, including with or without glasses and the two ‘morphed’ styles as well as the Lego style. The pickaxe is 800 V-Bucks, the wrap is 500 V-Bucks, the emote is 300 V-Bucks, the Jam Track is 500 V-Bucks, or everything can be purchased as a full bundle for 2,400 V-Bucks. The spray and emoticon aren’t included, but the spray can be unlocked in the Icon Cup and the emoticon will be given as a reward in a future event.

Release Date

Nick Eh 30 will be receiving his skin on Thursday, followed by select creators later that day. Epic Partners will then receive the skin on Friday, followed by a general release on Saturday at 8 pm ET when the Item Shop refreshes.

The Nick Eh 30 Icon Series skin is set to be added to the game with the upcoming 30.10 update that will go live on Thursday, June 13th. This update will also bring Fortnite Festival Season 4 to the game which will add the metal icons Metallica to the game with skins for each band member and six new tracks to unlock.
