Loose Women's Ruth Langsford has gushed about Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice's live show Together as the latter remains the subject of controversy following his Strictly Come Dancing axing. The star attended the duo's show in Guildford on Thursday night and shared a clip of the encore with her 1.1million Instagram followers.

"Fantastic dancers, fantastic singers, fantastic band," she raved as she tagged both men and the G Live venue. Ruth seemed to want to take to the stage herself as she also posted a backstage photo smiling happily with her Strictly Come Dancing 2017 partner Anton.

She captioned it: "Thanks for inviting me partner. If one of the dancers need a day off you know where I am." Ruth and Anton came ninth in the celebrity dance competition.

She was very emotional when they were axed after performing a Foxtrot for the second time in the dance off, as she had hoped to make it to the famous Blackpool Week. Unfortunately they were knocked out the week beforehand.

“I’m disappointed for Anton [Du Beke] because he should be going to Blackpool. He’s made this whole thing so much fun, I’ve absolutely loved it, even the judges’ comments, even Craig’s - he knows I love him really!," she told host Tess Daly at the time.

“All those wonderful people up there, they all deserve to be going to Blackpool. And you Anton Du Beke, are just the most fabulous man, so funny and you are a beautiful dancer and I hope we will be friends for a very long time.”

It appears that the pair have indeed remained close as Ruth cuddled up to him on Thursday night outside his dressing room.

His tour with Giovanni is proving a roaring success despite the fact Giovanni has been axed from the next series of Strictly following allegations from former partners on the show about his training methods, which he has stringently denied.

The 33-year-old professional dancer has been embroiled in controversy for months after his most recent appearance on the BBC dance show due to allegations about his behaviour, which he has denied.

He was partnered with actress Amanda Abbington, who left the show prematurely and later claimed she suffered from PTSD.

As if to prove the allegations hadn't affected his popularity on the opening night of the tour at the Beck Theatre in London Gio teased his Instagram followers with a short clip. “So we are in Haye tonight for opening night," he opened.

"It’s going very well so far. So far so good but it seems like we’re performing for ourselves because well…”

Anton added: “Well I thought we’d have a full house.” Gio then replied: “Okay well who wants to watch the show,” before the pair parted to reveal a huge audience all cheering for Gio and Anton behind a ‘sold out’ emoji.

The crowd were clearly undeterred by allegations against him as he was then seen walking out in front of the crowd with the house lights up where he soaked in the applause for several moments.
