It's been a day since Lincoln tried to convinced them that he wasn't bad luck. He managed to, but with a twist. In order for him to not have "bad luck", his sisters forced him to wear a squirrel suit from Lynn's baseball game. Lincoln is in his room without his squirrel suit on. He is talking to the viewers.
Lincoln: (irritated, talking to viewers) Well, this is stupid! I'm forced to wear this stupid squirrel suit just because I have bad luck! I don't get it! They still believe this superstition! Well, I want this to end! I'm gonna talk to Mom and Dad and see if I can convince them to stop treating me like this.
Lincoln then gets up and tries to sneaks to the stairs but Lori spots him
Lori: Lincoln! What did we tell you?! Put your suit on!
Lincoln: Can I just have it off for once?!
Lori: No! Put it on!
Lincoln: Fine!
Lincoln goes back into his room and puts the suit on
Lincoln: Better?!
Lori: Yes! Now keep it on unless you want the house to collapse on us!
Lori then entered her room and slammed the door shut. Lincoln then headed downstairs and looked around to make sure that no one was looking. He then took off the suit and ran into the kitchen, where the parents were
Lincoln: Mom! Dad! Can I have a-
Rita: Honey! Why don't you have your suit on! You gotta put it on!
Lincoln: I just wanna ta-
Lynn Sr: Listen to your mom, put your suit on! You have bad luck!
Lincoln: I really do-
Rita: Yes you do hon-
Lincoln: I DON'T HAVE BAD LUCK!
Lincoln's outburst caused Lynn Sr to step in
Lynn Sr: HOW DARE YOU YELL AT YOUR MOTHER! PUT YOUR SUIT ON AND GO TO YOUR ROOM! YOU'RE GROUNDED!
Lincoln: But Dad-
Lynn Sr: NOW!
Reluctanly, Lincoln goes up to his room, grabbing his suit in the process. He enters his room and sits on his bed. He's about to lie down when his door flungs open and his sisters are staring at him, angry
Lincoln: (irritated) What do you want?
Lori: What did we tell you?! Now look what your bad luck did!
Lori pulls out her phone and it shows a crack on her screen
Lincoln: Lori! I don't have bad luck! I didn't do that!
Lynn: What do you explain this then?!
Lynn pulls out her football that is deflated
Lincoln: I don't know! I didn't do that!
Lola: Well, maybe if you had your suit on, this wouldn't have happened!
Lincoln: This suit is doing nothing! All it is doing is making me look like a fool!
Luna: Just put it on and this will be done with!
Lincoln: (livid) NO!
Lori: Excuse me?!
Lincoln: (livid) You heard me! I'm not putting on this stupid suit just because of your superstitions! Now leave me alone!
Luan: Oh, you just got yourself in a "furry" situation! Hahahaha!
They all entered Lincoln's room and started attacking him. The attack lasted for a minute, then the parents broke up the fight, leaving Lincoln on the verge of tears
Lynn Sr: BREAK IT UP! LINCOLN! PUT ON YOUR SUIT!
Lincoln: (verge of tears) C'mon dad, you know I don't have bad luck.
Rita: LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER! PUT IT ON! NOW!
Lincoln finally put on the suit, so he can end the fight
Lori: That's all you had to do, twerp!
Everyone looks at him with angry glares before leaving his room. He then broke down into tears, sobbing uncontrollably.
Lincoln: (sobbing, talking to viewers) It's never fair! Why do my sisters always get to do what they want, but when I try to do my thing, I always get mistreated by it?!
Lincoln continues to sob in his hand. Later on at night, everyone else is sleeping, except for Lincoln. He is boiled up with anger from what happened earlier. He then sits up and begins to talk
Lincoln: (talking to viewers) Well, there's my family! Some people who like to treat their only brother with mistreatment! Well, i'm not dealing with it no more! I'm gonna find another family that will actually take care of me, because they'll actually love me, and not pretend they do!
Lincoln then gets up and starts to pack everything he has in his backpack. His posters, clothes, action figures etc. He then tears the squirrel suit off him and throws it onto his floor. He then climbs through his window and jumps to a nearby tree and slides down it. He then takes one last look at the house with anger
Lincoln: Disgusting!
He then walks across the street and knocks on Clyde's door. Clyde, along with his dads answer
Clyde: Lincoln? What on earth are you doing here this late?
Lincoln: (livid) I can't live with my family! They'e been mistreating me so much these last few days! I can't stand it!
Howard: Aw, that's awful Lincoln! You must've been through a lot!
Harold: Well, you're more that welcome to stay here as long as you want.
Lincoln: Really?
Clyde: Of course! We can spend a lot of time reading comics and playing video games!
Lincoln: Thanks guys! At least someone actually cares for me.
Clyde: Well, when you're with the McBrides, you will always be filled with respect.
Lincoln: Thanks, let's head up to your room and get settled.
Howard: Don't make too much noise. We gotta get to sleep.
Clyde: Don't worry dad. We won't. C'mon Lincoln, let's get settled.
Lincoln and Clyde goes up to Clyde's room and for the rest of the night, they get settled into the room.
The Next Day[]
Back at the Loud house, everyone wakes up like it's a normal day, not knowing what happened last night. They brushed their teeth, got dressed and went downstairs to get breakfast. Rita finally noticed that Lincoln was missing from the Theytable.
Rita: Lincoln's still sleeping? Well Lori, can you go wake him up?
Lori: Sure.
Lori runs up to Lincoln's door and knocks
Lori: Lincoln! You better wake up! We're waiting for you for breakfast!
Nothing but silence is then heard in the room
Lori: Don't make me come in there!
Still silence
Lori: That's it!
She enters Lincoln's room to find it mostly empty. She sees no posters on the wall, no clothes hanging up, no toys on the desk and most importantly, she doesn't see Lincoln anywhere. All she finds that connects to Lincoln is the squirrel suit and a note on the bed. She reads the note and is truely terrified.
Lori: GUYS! WE LITERALLY HAVE A PROBLEM!
Everyone else leaves the kitchen and enter Lincoln's room to find the same empty room that Lori's seeing. Lori then hands them the note.
Lori: Read this.....it's from Lincoln.
They all grab the note and start to read it. The note says "Dear Family, Well, should've seen this coming. It's been a few days of me being left out by my own family because I apparently have bad luck. There is no such thing as bad luck, but you guys wanna keep believing the superstitions that were made. Not only that, in order for me to not have "bad luck", you forced me to be in a squirrel suit! That's so ridiculous! And Mom and Dad, you were in this too! You didn't even let me talk! You just grounded me instead, which is messed up! Anyways, I bet you're wondering where I am. Well, since you decided to put my face behind a mask, that told me that you guys don't care for me anymore, so I decided to move on. I'm going to a new family. One that will actually accept me and not leave me out! I hope all of your superstitions were worth it, because i'm gone! Enjoy it, because what i've seen, it doesn't even bother you."After the note was read, everyone started getting tears in their eyes.
Lori: (teary eye) W-What did we d-do!
Luna: (teary eye) We l-lost our only b-b-brother!
Lynn: (teary eye) All because we believed he had bad luck!
Rita: (teary eye) We're an awful family to him!
Leni: (teary eye) D-Didn't you read i-it? We're not even c-considered family by him anymore!!!
Leni broke down and started sobbing in her hands. Soon enough, everyone else joined in with her. They were all on the floor in his room, sobbing their eyes out
Lori: (sobbing) Because of us.....he's gone now!
Luan: (sobbing) Why do we have to be this harsh to him?! He's the nicest sibling to us!
Lola: (sobbing) Why can't we be nice to him for once!
Lynn Sr: (sobbing) Look at us! We didn't even let him talk! We're so stupid!
They continued to sob for another 3 minutes. Then Rita stood up and tried to be strong
Rita: (teary eye) Listen, I know we just lost him, but we still have a chance of finding him. If we post missing signs everywhere, we may get him to come back by whatever means! Who's with me?!
Everyone else: We are!
Rita: (teary eye) Good! Time to print some posters!
Meanwhile, Lincoln is in Clyde's room, playing with action figures when Clyde asks something
Clyde: So Lincoln, where did this bad luck rumor come from?
Lincoln: (sigh) It all started from Lynn when I was forced to go to her baseball game. Apparently, her team was on winning streak before I came. When I came, they lost and she started calling me bad luck. I'm gonna be honest, I did enforce the superstition so I could have some freetime.
Clyde: Would you think that was worth it?
Lincoln: No! I don't! I honestly don't regret saying that I had bad luck! I deserve some freetime! If anyone should be regretting something, it should be my sisters, ecpecially Lynn!
Clyde: Well they did lose you.
Lincoln: I'm happy about it honestly because i'm with people who actually care for me.
Clyde: Don't worry Lincoln, we'll always have each others back.
Lincoln: That's what I wished my sisters were! Anyways, i'm bored.
Clyde: Well, wanna go for a walk?
Lincoln: I don't know. I don't want "them" seeing me.
Clyde: Don't worry, I got your back.
Lincoln: Ok, if you insist.
Lincoln and Clyde get their shoes on and head out. They start walking down the sidewalk when they notice something
Clyde: Lincoln, look!
Lincoln: What?
Clyde: It's a missing poster for you!
Lincoln inspects the poster and sees all sorts of detail of him. He rolls his eyes
Lincoln: I'm not surprised. They're gonna do whatever they can so I could head home and when I come home, nothing will change. This is not buying it. Let's keep going.
They continued to walk down the sidewalk and about 100 meters down was another poster for Lincoln, but this one had a note. It read "Please come home Lincoln".Still, Lincoln isn't fazed
Lincoln: They just keep on trying. Let's keep going.
They keep going, but every poll they past had the missing poster for Lincoln. Some were normal, others had little messages on it like" We miss you bro"or"Please come back".Lincoln started getting irritated by the posters
Lincoln: Clyde, let's head to the park. I can't stand seeing these posters!
Clyde: OK, let's go!
In about five minutes, they arrive at the park and everything seems to be normal. That is until they see the sisters and parents nearby. Lincoln and Clyde quickly jumped into a bush
Clyde: (whisper) Lincoln, what do we do?
Lincoln: (whisper) Go out there and ask them what's been happening. I wanna see this for myself without getting caught.
Clyde quietly gets out of the bush and walks up to them. He's about to tap one of their shoulders but notices that they're all crying. He taps the shoulder anyways and gets everyones attention.
Clyde: Woah guys! You ok?
Luna: (crying) No bro!
Clyde: What happen?
Lynn Sr: (crying) We lost Lincoln!
Clyde: What do you mean?
Lynn: (sobbing) He ran away! All because of my superstitions!
Rita: (crying) Lynn, it's not all your fau-
Lynn: (sobbing) Yes it is mom! If it wasn't for me, none of this would've happen! He would still be home with us and we would be having a great time because we actually care for him!!!
Lynn started sobbing and ran away. Everyone else except for Leni chased after her
Leni: (crying) We forced him into a squirrel suit because he apparently had bad luck and we even beat him up so he can have it on!
Clyde: Aw, that's awful....and harsh.
Leni: (crying) I know! I wish we never did this! I just want my little Linky back!!!
Leni then runs away, catching up with the other sisters and parents. Clyde then signals to Lincoln that he can come out. Lincoln heard everything that happened and isn't surprised by it.
Clyde: Well Lincoln? What do you say?
Lincoln: Still not surprised! They never help me when I get emotional like that, so why should I help them?
Clyde: Good point.
Lincoln: Alright, let's get back to the house. I'm actually starting to get tired of walking.
Clyde: Alright.
They both turn around and start heading back to the McBride's house.
Later on at the loud's residents, all of the sisters are in Lori's room talking about what happen
Lori: (low voice) So.....did anyone find any evidence about Lincoln?
All of the girls shake their heads no
Lori: (low voice) Well, we can't give up. We will find him
Lynn: (low voice) How? I bet as soon as he sees us, he'll run away....
Lori: (low voice) That doesn't mean anything!
Lynn: If it doesn't, then why did he run away in the first place?!
Lynn started forming tears
Lynn: (teary eye) I'm really stupid! Just because we started losing when he came, I called him bad luck! Don't even try talking me out of this either because I convinced all of you to believe me too! I'm the reason he's gone!
She started to sob into her hand. No one knew what to say, but when someone finally had something to say, it was too late because Lynn ran out of the room in tears. Lucy followed behind her
Lucy: I'll be right back....
Lucy leaves the room
Lori: (low voice) Well, we'll find a way somehow. I just know it. Go do whatever you do. We're done here
Everyone leaves Lori's room. Meanwhile, Lynn is in her room sobbing on Lucy shoulder, who is crying with her
Lynn: (sobbing) It's always me...
Lucy: (crying) No it's not.
Lynn: (sobbing) Yes it is Lucy! Don't you see, everytime something happens, I have to enforce it on Lincoln. When I blamed him for clogging the toliet, or when I used him for Lola. Heck, it's my fault he even has a chipped tooth!
Lucy: (crying) Don't be so hard on yourself! We all beat him up so he could just have that stupid squirrel suit on!
Lynn: (sobbing) Why do we have to be so hard on him?! He never did such things to us, so what makes him deserve this?!
Lucy: (crying) I don't know, but I do know this now: he's gone because of it!
They continue to cry in each others arms. Meanwhile, Lisa and Lily are in their room. Lisa is sitting right next to her little sister
Lisa: (low voice) You know Lily, i'm suppose to be the smart genius of this house, but apparently I'm not smart enough to do the work on bad luck. Now, my older brother is now gone.
Lily: Poo poo!
Lisa: (low voice) If only you knew how to talk, I would understand what you're trying to say. You're too young to understand what's happening......and I think that's for the better....
Lisa just kept staring at Lily, but little montages of Lincoln and her hanging out played into her head. This made her tear up. Lily noticed this and hugged her the best she could
Lily: (low voice) Poo poo....
Lisa: (teary eye) So you do know huh? Well, i guess that's because Lincoln impact our lives in such a way......and now he's gone...
Lisa then started crying while Lily hugged her, giving the best comfort. Lily then started tearing up as well. The whole house was different. It was now quiet and it has been strucken with saddness that was never seen on the Loud's energetic faces.
The next day[]
Lincoln and Clyde are hanging out in the Living room, watching tv
Lincoln: Man, it's finally great that i'm away from all that mayham!
Clyde: Well, I would say that you were use to it, but after hearing about what happened before I can see where you get that now.
Lincoln: If you were in my shoes, you wouldn't survive the ordeal I went through!
Clyde: I hear that!
Lincoln: Well, what do you wanna do?
Clyde: I don't know
While they said that, Harold and Howard came into the room
Howard: Hey boys, We need you to shut the light off and open the blinds.
Harold: Yeah, we're high in the bill, so we would like to save some money.
Clyde: Ok dads.
Lincoln: I'll get it.
Lincoln gets up and heads for the blinds
Lincoln: I guess a little light could refresh our memories
Clyde: I guess.
Lincoln opens the blinds
Lincoln: Ok there we g-
Lincoln abruptly cut off and immediatley dove towards the floor, crawling behind the couch. Clyde was confused
Clyde: You ok Linc-
Lincoln: SHHHHH! Be quiet!
Clyde: Why?
Just as he said that, multiple knocks were heard at the door, and that told Clyde everything he needed to know. Clyde headed for the door and as he expected, he saw "them".
Clyde: Hey girls, what's u-
Luna: Shut it bro, no offense. We saw Lincoln in here!
Clyde: (nervous) Lincoln in my house? I haven't seen Lincoln since last week.
Lynn: Well to us, we saw him open your blinds and immediately dove down out of view.
Clyde: Uhhhhh...
Clyde tried to think of something to not throw Lincoln out, but Lincoln knows he's been caught. There's no way out of this. Lincoln emerges from the back of the couch revealing himself
Lincoln: (angry) Here I am! Missed me?!
Sisters: LINCOLN!!!!
They all rush into the house and tackle him with hugs
Lynn: Lincoln, you don't know how much i'm sorry for starting all of this!
Luna: And we're sorry for forcing you into that squirrel suit!
Lori: Please don't run away ever again!
They all squeeze him with hugs, which angered him more
Lincoln: (angry) Alright, I get it, Stop!
Lincoln then tears himself away from the hug, which causes the sisters to back off
Lincoln: Clyde, thank you for letting me stay here for these past days.
Clyde: No problem!
Lincoln: And thank you too Mrs. McBrides.
Howard: It was a pleasure for you to be here
Harold: Don't forget your stuff!
Lincoln: Oh yeah! (turns to sisters, angry) Be right back!
Lincoln runs up to Clyde's room and five minutes later, he comes back down with his backpack that is filled with everything he took.
Lincoln: (angry) Let's go!
Lincoln and all of his sisters slowly follow behind. They see him clenching his fist as he's walking.
Leni: Listen, Linky.......we'll never do that to you ever again! We promise!
Lincoln immediatley spins around at them, which makes them stop in their tracks
Lincoln: (angry) Really! Now you say that! And how can I believe you?! You said this stuff all of my life and nothing changed, so what makes this one so different?!
Leni: Well....uh....
Lincoln: (livid) Of course, no one has an answer! You know something, you guys are really stupid! You know that?! No one cares about how they treat me, but once it get serious, then you start caring?! That's actually disgusting! And once again, why me?! Why do I deserve this much torment?! I NEVER do this much to you. I will admit, I have done some stuff, i'm not gonna lie, but I don't go on that level! I never beat you up or force you into a squirrel suit! At the latest, you could at least insult me, but you don't have to be that extreme! By the way, where's Mom and Dad?!
Lana: T-They're at work...
Lincoln: (livid) Of course they are! They won't take the time to come out and look for me! They're already busy on their jobs! They don't care! They only care about themselves!
Lincoln started to walk again, but he felt someone grab his arms. It was the twins, giving him puppy eyes
Lincoln: (angry) Let go of me! Your face isn't fooling me! Your little notes on the posters weren't either. I knew that once I came home, nothing will change, and I bet it's gonna be the same, Because it's apparently "normal"! I think it's rude and disgusting!
Lincoln then enter the house and went up the stairs and headed for his room. He was about to set everything down when he saw the squirrel suit laying on his bed. This angered him more
Lincoln: (angry) REALLY?! YOU STILL HAVE THIS STUPID THING?! CAN'T WAIT TO BE WALKING AROUND IN IT ONCE AGAIN! ACTUALLY, I HAVE A BETTER PLAN!
Lincoln opens his window and throws the squirrel suit outside and it lands on Mr. Grouse's property. Mr. Grouse immediately comes outside and grabs the squirrel suit
Mr. Grouse: MY YARD, MY PROPERTY!
Lincoln: (angry) KEEP IT, OLD MAN! NO ONE WANT IT ANYWAY!
Mr. Grouse then leaves and enters his house. He then turns to his sisters
Lincoln: (livid) Listen to me when I say this! I may be home, but you're not family to me!
Lori: But Lin-
Lincoln: (livid) NO BUTS! YOU HEARD ME! NOW GET OUT!!!
The sisters all leave the room depressed. They got Lincoln back home, but not in the family.
Lori: Well.....look on the bright side, we know that he's ok and he's back home.
Lynn: (low voice) Yeah, but we're not his family yet....
Lori: Trust me Lynn, well fin-
Lynn: Lori, didn't you hear him? We're not family! That's more than him not accepting our apology! He's not coming back! He hates us...
Lynn then goes into her room and shuts the door. Everyone but Lori enter their rooms as well. Lori was left in the hallway, staring at Lincoln's door.
Lori: We'll find a way....
